ALBANY, N. Y. (WRGB) – The state budget does not include $1 million for Lyme and tick-borne illness research. At one point, the $1 million was in the senate version of the budget but it didn’t make the final cut. It would be used to study ticks locally and work toward Lyme Disease prevention.
