Southwest Georgia mosquito season worse than last year exterminators say

Pest control specialists say this year’s mosquito season is already worse than last year, with a higher likelihood of spreading infectious diseases like West Nile Virus. Bridges Sinyard who is the vice president with Adam Exterminators says that a fairly wet winter, and steady rainfall throughout the summer have made conditions favorable for mosquitoes here in Southwest Georgia. Sinyard says an increase of heartworms in pets is likely for those that don’t have prevention medications.
