Buzz, Buzz: Las Vegas officials say bee swarming season has begun

Coronavirus, allergies—and now bees? That’s right. Las Vegas Fire and Rescue reports that swarms of bees have already been observed around the city over the last week. March and April usually mark the beginning of the swarming season for the winged, stinger-welding insects since they are moving from place to place. The warmer weather around this time of year means ore outdoor activity, which often leads to an increased chance of encountering bees.
