Animal Control for the City of Memphis is asking for pet owners to keep their animals on their property during a city-wide quarantine after four confirmed cases of rabies have been reported in the city limits. Any animal found off the owner’s property will be impounded by Memphis Animal Control. In order for the animal to be reclaimed, the owner will have to provide proof of vaccination.
