An investigation into a dog bite incident in Borger has led authorities in Hutchinson County to the discovery of a rabies-positive skunk. According to the Hutchinson County Sheriff’s Office, the investigation into the dog bite led authorities to the discovery that a skunk had been involved with another incident with the dogs prior to the bite. Officials were able to capture the skunk and euthanize it.
