NASHVILLE, Tenn. (WZTV) — The Centers for Disease Control and Prevention (CDC) report the first confirmed identification of a “kissing bug” in Delaware. The case first came to the attention of Delaware health and agriculture officials in July of last year when a child was bitten on her face while watching television. The parents took the child to Seek medical attention out of concern about possible disease transmission.
