Several rooms have been treated at Tyner Academy after bed bugs were found earlier this week, according to school officials. Tyner Principal Gerald Harris confirmed that insects had been found at the school, directing us to HCDE spokesman Tim Hensley for more information. Hensley says the report of bed bugs happened Tuesday, and the room reported and block of nearby rooms were treated that afternoon. The spokesman also says a chair in the room was removed as a precaution.
