The Alabama Department of Environmental Management is telling the owner of a Birmingham property with thousands of scrap tires on it to clean it up. The tires are a breeding ground for mosquitoes. Bryan Embry manages the wrecker service that’s right next to the tire dump. He says all the tires next door have attracted lots of mosquitoes. And the people who work here have been bitten. “They just swarm on you. Usually, when a mosquito gets on you, you can shoo it off.
