More West Nile-positive mosquitoes in state (via Connecticut Post)

The number of mosquitoes testing positive for West Nile Virus has grown to 33, and more positive mosquitoes have been found in several towns, including Westport, Stamford and Greenwich.

Symptoms of West Nile generally occur three to 14 days following the bite of an infected mosquito, and range from fever, headache, body aches, nausea, and less frequently skin rash and swollen nodes to severe headache, high fever, stiff neck, disorientation, muscle weakness, coma, or death.
